Facilities have been added in 2013 such as bathhouse which has free laundry and a community room. There are 30 and 50 amp electricity hookups along with water, cable TV, sewer and there is also wireless internet available throughout the park. All visitors are advised to try their best to check in before 9 pm as this park gets dark at night.

You can choose any of the 82 sites and be confident that it will be well maintained and clean. You will not have to worry about the size of your rig as each site measures in at 22' x 60'. This large of a site will accommodate even the largest rig out there.

    Take the whole family paddling and swimming in Lake Shelby or to the nature center. The nature center is open daily from 9 a.m to 4 p.m and has a live museum of animals and plants that are native to the Gulf Coast Area. Kids can meet and greet animals face to face and see plants they might never see anywhere else in the world. The nature center aims to inspire everyone to take better care of the environment by giving nature walks, pier walks, beach walks, and nature time.

    The Gulf State Park offers 496 full-hookup sites with paved pads and a total of 11 primitive campsites. With running water, outdoor showers, and rustic bathrooms close-by, you will always feel like you are home away from home.
